Agreed, in a situation where you don’t have people with a high skill level in the art of coffee a super-auto makes sense. Doing what is needed to make a good shot and a good drink is part of the “true barista”, but many coffee shops still hire people that dont share this mindset. We’re kind of like… the Samurai of the Bean…

I know, but there are some situations where coffee does not belong, but if coffee is insisted to be present, a super auto just might be the best answer.

It doesn’t mean it’s my preference, or even ideal.. but it’s better to have a consistently mediocre shot out of a super auto than a terrible shot out of a semi-auto.
